Laundry Room Tour

Posted by AFarmhouseFull on November 14, 2012 at 11:25 AM

Talking to many mommas, I have realized that laundry is the arch enemy to a lot of us! I will say having a system makes keeping up with laundry much more attainable.  I developed a system a couple of years ago and it streamlines my laundry activities into one central spot.....the laundry room.  It also allows my children to become active participants in the laundry chores which makes my load lighter and gives them added responsibilities.

Here is my laundry room....

Loving these tours!! Have to make a list of ideas for future between laundry and homeschool:) Since I desperatly need to revamp mommas clothing (just cuz it fits from high school does NOT mean I need to be wearing it!) I might implement the minimal folding. I should be able to hang most of my things after the big purge:) I am strict on the kids stuff though- 2 years of wonderful hand me downs and it got a little ridiculous with the girls clothes. Only nice things, I LIKE, and would actually put her in get to stay, the rest get passed on. Newest house rule;)

So helpful! Thanks!

About Me:

I am a wife to my amazingly handsome, multi-talented, God-centered husband, Mike.  We have been married since I was just a baby after being high school sweet hearts FOREVER. The Lord has blessed us with (soon to be) 6 beautiful babies that challenge and bless us daily! I am a homeschooling mom and LOVE it!  We live on a handful of acres alongside a shallow creek and have slowly been turning a house (that we built in 2005) into a home. We have raised pigs, bees and chickens (and of course kids!) over the years.  I also love to grow and perserve my own food (there is just something about it that makes my heart smile), tackle home projects both big and small (I am a contractor's daughter), read, sew, quilt, crochet, knit and try to keep an open "Mary" home of hospitality (Luke 10:38-42).
